2/26/2024
Today, we went to the Junior area to help with the Japanese and Art classes. In Japanese class, we wore a Yukata. We told them about the Yukata and showed what it looked like. In Art class we helped the year 1s cut paper and glued them.
It is our last week here so I’m not going to regret it!!

2/27/2024
Today after we ate dinner, we prepared for the so-ran bushi tomorrow. I also ate some noodles with my friend. It was very delicious. We haven’t done much practice so I am a little nervous but I hope we will do well. I also wrote “thank you” on the bag I put the souvenirs in and put an origami crane in it.

2/28/2024
Today we did our so-ran bushi performance. We thought that we would perform it only for our class but all of the year 10s were there and because it was lunch time, there were many people from many grades watching our performance. After the performance, our buddies came to us and said that it was cool. Many other people told us that we did great too! Also we were told that we will go out to eat dinner. I am very excited!!!

2/29/2024
Today we went out with Ms.Upisiri and Ms.Nichoel to the Queen street mall for dinner. We could choose what we wanted to eat so we chose Mexican food. I ordered a bowl and it was good! I also had churros for dessert!
I also gave out the souvenirs to the TS group in roll call. I gave a sticky note and a crane that I folded to my classmates. Everyone looked happy to receive the gifts so I was relieved.
I can’t believe that we have one school day left!!

3/1/2024
Today was our last day of school. We had Math, English, Science and Japanese lessons today. When I was walking in the Junior area, three girls from year 6 gave me a hug! They were so nice even though I've only met them a few times and made my life at St Hilda's wonderful!!
We went to meet the principal and gave her gifts from Japan.(also Mr.Winter) She was happy to meet us and gave us a present!! We took a selfie together too!
I talked a lot to my buddy about my family and friends. She looked so excited to come to Japan!!
When we went back to boarding, some girls prepared us snacks!! We chatted a lot and exchanged our instagram accounts!!
I didn’t get to say goodbye to some of my new friends so I was a bit sad.
Now I really have to start packing my things up!!!

3/2/2024
Today I woke up at 6:30 to take a shower and finish my packing. I had a lot more stuff than I thought so I redid my packing several times. When it was time to leave boarding, we got some presents from the Japanese borders!! I hoped that today was not the last day and we won’t be going back to Japan.
At Sydney, there were more Japanese people than I expected so I felt like it was Japan so when we arrived at Tokyo, it didn’t feel like we came back to Japan. Also, it was very cold so we wore something warm immediately. When we arrived at Fukuoka Airport, our parents were taking photos of us all the time. We talked about the trip for a bit and I went home to eat udon.
