10月３日にリンデン祭が行われました。中高学部の実行委員長を中心に、児童生徒、先生、保護者が協力して、リンデンらしい素敵なリンデン祭となりました。実行委員長の堂々としたスピーチ、小学１年生から６年生の表現豊かなスピーチ、アフタースクールで練習を日々頑張っているヒップホップダンスの可愛らしいダンス。そして、ダイナミックで美しい音色を体育館全体に奏でながら、みんなのハートを一気に惹きつけた、小学部の児童によるピアノとチェロ、ピアノとドラム、和太鼓の演奏！！最後には、日本舞踊クラブによる華麗な舞。その後、中高生による留学体験や頑張っているスポーツなどについてのスピーチやダンス発表がありました。午前中は、一人一人の個性が光り輝き、その努力や勇気、表現を、全員が受け止め、賞賛し、あたたかく応援した一体感、感動的ですばらしい時間となりました。午後からは、中高生が準備してくれた楽しい企画や、様々な演奏、アートやサイエンスのワークショップなどがあり、小学部の児童たちは、友達や家族と一緒に午後の時間を楽しみました。１年に１度のリンデン祭は今年も、笑顔、感動、個性、一体感、成長が感じられるすばらしい学校行事となり大変嬉しく感じています。リンデン祭のために様々な場面で協力して下さったみなさまに心より感謝を申し上げます。そして、この日のために頑張った全ての児童生徒のみなさん、本当によく頑張りました！私はあなたたちのことを誇りに思います。


The Linden Festival was held on October 3rd. Led by the Executive Committee Chair from the Junior and Senior High School Division, students, teachers, and parents worked together to create a truly “Linden‑like” and wonderful festival. The Executive Committee Chair delivered a confident and impressive speech, followed by expressive and heartfelt speeches from first‑ through sixth‑grade students. The adorable hip‑hop dance performance—practiced diligently every day in After School—brought smiles to the audience.

The elementary students’ musical performances were breathtaking: piano and cello, piano and drums, and traditional Japanese taiko. Their dynamic and beautiful sounds filled the entire gymnasium and instantly captivated everyone’s hearts. The festival concluded with an elegant Japanese dance performance by the Japanese Dance Club. After that, junior and senior high school students presented speeches about their study‑abroad experiences and the sports they are working hard in, along with dance performances.

The morning program became a truly moving and wonderful time in which each student’s identity shone brightly. Everyone embraced, praised, and warmly supported the children’s efforts, courage, and expressions, creating a powerful sense of unity.

In the afternoon, students enjoyed a variety of fun activities prepared by the junior and senior high school students, including musical performances and art and science workshops. Elementary students spent a delightful afternoon together with their friends and families.

Once again this year, the Linden Festival—held only once annually—became a joyful and inspiring school event filled with smiles, emotion, individuality, unity, and growth. We are truly grateful. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who supported the festival in so many ways. And to all the students who worked so hard for this day—well done. We are incredibly proud of you.
