Everyone commented "Fantastic Open School"!! A lot of people applied to attend the Open School last Saturday. One Year 10 student from Linden High School came to give a talk to the audience. She talked about her learning experiences at Linden Hall especially studying aboard and wide variety of cultural event when she was at Elementary School. Also we had another guest speaker who graduated from Linden High School in March this year. He said in his speech that "Experience is more important than knowledge" and talked about what he learnt at Linden Hall and how he enjoyed having plenty of experience including after school activities. These two students also talked about their future plan and dream, doing IB program next year and also studying at Cambridge University from September. Fortunately, on top of that we had his father talked about his own experience as a father of the Linden Hall students since 13 years ago. We all learnt so much from 3 main speakers.
We also had talented students who played guitar and piano on the day. Two Grade 6 students did such a great job as MC as well. Everyone also enjoyed participating Music, Science and IT lessons and School Tour! Thank you very much for everyone for the wonderful day!

「素晴らしいオープンスクールでしたね！」とたくさんのコメントを頂きました。多くのお申し込みがあり、先週の土曜日に第１回目のオープンスクールが開催されました。リンデンホールスクール中高学部１０年生の生徒が、小学部での体験、特に留学や多くの行事を経験したことを話してくれました。また、今年の３月に卒業した同じく中高学部卒業生が、「知識より体験」が大切だという話をしてくれた中で、アフタースクールなどの放課後の活動などを含め、楽しみながら多くの学びが豊富な経験から得られたことを話してくれました。最後に二人は、これからの計画や夢を語ってくれました。１０年生は、来年はインターナショナルバカロレアプログラムに挑戦すること、中高学部卒業生は、ケンブリッジ大学進学が決まっているので、その後の夢についても話してくれました。その後、ケンブリッジ大学進学予定の卒業生のお父さんが、１３年前から保護者として経験したことを丁寧に話してくれました。参加したすべての方々にとって大変貴重なお話だったと思います。
　また、この日は、リンデンホールの在校生が、ギターやピアノ演奏をしてくれたり、オープンスクールの司会を立派につとめてくれました。また、参加者たちは、音楽、理科、パソコンの授業を受けたり、スクールツアーをしたりして、オープンスクールを過ごされました。素敵な１日をありがとうございました！
