This week, G4 students planted eggplant at Linden Farm. This is part of our learning and linking SHOKUIKU and Environmental Education. Students compost vegetables and fruit skins leftovers from school lunches and use the product on the school grounds to grow more vegetables. These vegetables are harvested and used to cook more school lunches.

今週、４年生はリンデンファームにナスの苗を植えました。これは、食育と環境教育を結び付けた学習活動です。給食で出た野菜や果物の皮などを児童がコンポスト（堆肥）にし、学校敷地内の畑で野菜を栽培する際に活用。収穫した野菜は給食の食材として使用します。
